ZENI: a pilot installation on Laïta’s industrial site in Créhen
23.04.2026
A key Milestone
A working meeting was recently held at Laïta’s Crehen site as part of the Even’Up progamme, involving industrial teams, technical management and representatives from the ZENI start-up.
Romain Courne, manager of the Crehen site, Nicole Thoraval, Laïta’s industrial manager, and environmental teams (STEP) took part in the discussions.
Séverine Plantier, a project manager in ZENI’s technical department and mentor to the ZENI start-up, was there to support the ZENI representatives. Guillaume Tanguy, Technical Director, and Marie-Caroline Cunze, Commercial & Projects Director.
Emmanuel Etesse, Consulting Engineer in Agriculture, Agri-food and Healthcare Innovation at Village by CA Finistère, also took part.
Towards on-site experimentation
The purpose of the meeting was to share the results of the latest filtration tests (COD, nitrogen, phosphorous) carried out at the ZENI laboratories, and to approve the next stages for setting up a pilot installation on site (50 L).
The discussion focused on analysing the performances observed, comparing the data against the site’s operational constraints, and specifying the necessary technical conditions for on-site experimentation.
A tour of the outdoor areas also helped to identify the most suitable locations for a potential installation.
This phase represents a definitive step forward in the trial phase of the project and illustrates the Even’Up approach: to bring together technical expertise, industrial sectors and partners in the ecosystem to develop solutions that can be tested on the ground.
